About

A French Non-Profit Association, and an official member organization of the (UN SDSN Youth), consists of inventors and aims to support university students in the development process of their creative ideas to become real inventions on the ground and get them registered as patents.

Who WE ARE

Bright inventors is a French Non-profit Association based in Strasbourg, France, and it is also an official member organization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN SDSN Youth). It consists of inventors and aims to support university students in the development process of their creative ideas to become real inventions on the ground and get them registered as patents.

Our Story

The team started in January 2018, divided into three boards:

- Administrative Board
- Youth Supervisors Board
- Experts and Consultants Board

The association was officially created on 26 November 2019 under the auspices of the District Court of Strasbourg (Grand-Est region) in France and was legally announced and published by the French newspaper (L'Ami Hebdo) on 05 January 2020.

OUr Mission

Our mission is to support students and bright-minded youth  to become real inventions on the ground and get them registered as patents.
We are a new team of inventors, professors, and invention experts, who aim to teach students and bright-minded youth how to get their own Patent and academic description for their invention through theory lectures, practical workshops, and innovative labs using a different kind of medical and engineering tools to create a prototype to their innovative ideas.

Publish the culture of creativity and invention.
Help owners of ideas and guide them to obtain patents.
Preparation of the inventor to inform about the labor market.
Producing effective leaders, thinkers, and people to build future goals.

The first training program

It was in cooperation with the Syrian Private University (SPU), and with the support of the European Institute for Cooperation and Development in Syria (IECD) and UNICEF.
The ceremony was opened in April 2018 at the University's Laique Theater and concluded in July 2018 at the Armitage Hotel in Damascus.

At the end of the program, 60 patent projects were obtained in various scientific fields and specialties. And some of them won gold and silver medals.

A competition for the resulting inventions was organized and financial prizes were distributed by Sham Bank for the inventions that won the first five ranks.

The inventors participated in the Damascus International Fair, and some of them won gold and silver medals.
